Ill have to take a picture as soon as I find my damn camera but I have a Zino Platinum Crown Series Double Grande with what I beleive is plume. If it dusts off and doesnt leave any color on the wrapper than it should be plume right? Oh and if you have cigars with plume please post them.

Then it's plume..and that's a good thing.

If it's anywhere from blue-greenish-greyish, etc., and it definitely doesn't dust off....MOLD.

Plume or bloom is a fine white powder or dust which forms on cigars when oils exude from the tobacco as a result of aging. Plume is a good sign that a cigar has been properly aged, and it can easily be brushed off. Not to be confused with mold, which is a bluish fungus that stains the wrapper.

We just had a customer return a whole box of VSG's because "They were moldy" they were covered in plume and looking goooood. No sense in trying to explain to some people though. To some it will always be mold. Brick wall
